Fill in a 2-minute form. Vehicle, dates, what you need beyond storage. We reply same day on weekdays.

Drop off your rig
Bring it to the facility, or arrange a collection. We do a walk-through together so we know exactly what's yours and what's where.

Fly home, get on with life
Vehicle checks to keep you calm about your vehicle, and any urgent work can be arranged.

We pick you up. Your rig is ready.
Land at OR Tambo, hop in our vehicle, sign back in, drive out. Most people are back on the road within 2 hours of touchdown.

What we kept noticing was this: overlanders kept coming through Southern Africa on extraordinary trips, but kept struggling to find a proper place to leave their vehicle while they flew home. After some searching we met Duncan from African Overlanders who confirmed that there is a need for overlanding support near Pretoria/Johannesburg. That's how we decided to start Southern Africa Overlander Storage: a place where someone actually cared about the vehicle the way the owner would.
We care deeply about the overlanders we've met on this journey. And we built SAOS to be the support this community deserves...starting here in Johannesburg, and growing across Southern Africa.
